Design Diff（以下「本拡張機能」）は、Figma のデザインと実装済みの Web ページの見た目を比較するための
Chrome 拡張機能です。本ポリシーは、本拡張機能が取り扱うデータとその取り扱い方法を説明します。
基本方針
- 本拡張機能は、開発者独自のサーバーを一切持ちません。開発者がユーザーのデータを受信・保存・閲覧することはありません。
- データの送信先は、ユーザー自身が設定した API キーを用いて直接通信する第三者サービス（Figma および、ユーザーが選択した AI プロバイダ）に限られます。
- 解析（アナリティクス）、トラッキング、広告を目的としたデータ収集は一切行いません。
取り扱うデータ
本拡張機能は、ユーザーが比較を実行した場合にのみ、以下のデータを処理します。
- 対象 Web ページの情報: 計算済みスタイル（フォント、色、余白、枠線など）、要素のテキスト（各要素につき先頭80文字まで）、レイアウト座標、ページの URL、および表示領域のスクリーンショット画像。
- Figma デザインの情報: ユーザーが指定した Figma ファイル／フレームの画像およびノード情報（Figma API 経由で取得）。
- 認証情報: ユーザーが入力した Figma 個人アクセストークン、および AI プロバイダの API キー。
データの利用目的
取得したデータは、Figma デザインと Web ページの差分を検出・採点し、その結果を画面に表示する目的にのみ使用します。それ以外の目的には使用しません。
第三者への送信
比較処理のため、上記データはユーザーが設定した API キーを用いて、以下の第三者サービスへ
ユーザーのブラウザから直接送信されます。送信先はユーザーの選択により決まります。
- Figma（
api.figma.com）: デザイン画像・ノード情報の取得。
- ユーザーが選択した AI プロバイダ（以下のいずれか1つ）: スタイルデータおよびスクリーンショット画像を、比較・採点のために送信します。
- Google（Gemini API,
generativelanguage.googleapis.com）
- OpenAI（
api.openai.com）
- Anthropic（Claude API,
api.anthropic.com）
これらの送信先における取り扱いは、各サービスのプライバシーポリシーに従います。本拡張機能の開発者は、これらの通信を仲介・保存しません。
データの保存
- 認証情報（Figma トークン・AI API キー）、各種設定、Figma URL 履歴、直近の比較ジョブ、採点履歴は、すべて Chrome の
storage.local を用いてユーザーのローカル環境にのみ保存されます。
- これらが開発者や外部サーバーへ送信されることはありません。
- データを削除するには、本拡張機能を Chrome から削除するか、Chrome の閲覧データ削除機能で本拡張機能のデータを消去してください。
データの保持期間
ローカルに保存されたデータは、ユーザーが削除するまでユーザーの端末上に保持されます。開発者側に保持されるデータはありません。

Design Diff (the "Extension") is a Chrome extension for visually comparing Figma designs
with implemented web pages. This policy explains what data the Extension handles and how.
Core principles
- The Extension has no developer-operated server. The developer never receives, stores, or views your data.
- Data is sent only to third-party services that you connect using your own API keys (Figma, and the AI provider you choose).
- The Extension performs no analytics, tracking, or advertising-related data collection.
Data the Extension handles
The Extension processes the following only when you run a comparison:
- Target web page data: computed styles (font, color, spacing, borders, etc.), element text (up to the first 80 characters per element), layout coordinates, the page URL, and a screenshot of the visible viewport.
- Figma design data: images and node information for the Figma file/frame you specify, retrieved via the Figma API.
- Credentials: the Figma personal access token and the AI provider API key that you enter.
How the data is used
The data is used solely to detect and score differences between the Figma design and the web page, and to display the result on screen. It is not used for any other purpose.
Disclosure to third parties
To perform the comparison, the data above is sent directly from your browser, using your own API keys,
to the following third-party services. The destination depends on your selection.
- Figma (
api.figma.com): to retrieve design images and node information.
- The AI provider you select (one of the following): style data and the screenshot are sent for comparison and scoring.
- Google (Gemini API,
generativelanguage.googleapis.com)
- OpenAI (
api.openai.com)
- Anthropic (Claude API,
api.anthropic.com)
Handling at these destinations is governed by each service's own privacy policy. The Extension's developer does not intermediate or store this traffic.
Data storage
- Credentials (Figma token, AI API keys), settings, Figma URL history, the most recent comparison job, and score history are stored only on your local device using Chrome's
storage.local.
- None of this is transmitted to the developer or any external server.
- To delete the data, remove the Extension from Chrome, or clear the Extension's data via Chrome's "clear browsing data" feature.
Data retention
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it. The developer retains no data.
